What do you mean by offering convenience throughout the process?
The process includes purchasing, claiming and renewing. With the introduction of Union Motor Reload now customers are able to buy motor insurance for just 1 month, 3 months or 6 months through any Keells or Singer Mega outlet. This means that customers can buy motor insurance the way it suites their wallet & also is as simple as shopping for your groceries. Customers also could buy or reload their motor insurance with just a “click” by logging on to the UA website & printing their own certificate.
How do you ensure convenience at the point of a claim?
With the introduction of “Speed Cash” when our Assessors approve the claim through an on-site assessment, the payment will be instantly made through Commercial Bank via a seamlessly integrated SMS system. This enables customers to collect their payments from over 180 Commercial Bank branches and Minicom Centers island wide.
What about repairing the vehicle? How does that work?
We are very flexible and customers have the choice to decide. Customers could drive into any of our registered garages & get the repair done to specification or the customers can have the repair done at a garage of their choice.
Why do you call it a rewarding experience?
We have introduced Union Motor Rewards where we have tied up with over 100 vendors offering varying motor related products & services at discounted rates for our customers. Customers also could look for regular SMS alerts that will communicate various offers. Customers could just produce their “Union Motor Star” certificate at any of our registered vendors and be eligible for these special offers. Our objective is to reward our customers throughout the policy period by helping them save on their regular motor vehicle related expenses.
