Union Protection Enhancements
  

HCB - Hospital Cash Benefit
Hospital cash benefit shall be applicable for life assured and spouse of the life assured, if included in the policy. Hospitalization cover up to Rs.8,000.00 per day up to a maximum of 180 days a year. In case of ICU treatment this amount will be doubled.

FIB - Family Income Benefit
In the event of the death of the life assured, the company pays an to annual income equal to FIB sum assured in quarterly installments, until the expiry of the policy term.
 
LTB - Family Protection Benefit / Level Term
This benefit provides you with up to 5 times the value of your basic sum assured with a small addition to your premium. This is paid   in case of an accidental or natural death.

ADB - Accidental Death Benefit
In the event of accidental death up to 2 times of the sum assured is payable.

ASD - Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Due To Accident Or Sickness
In case of total permanent disability due to accident or sickness, the relevant sum assured will be paid in 5 equal annual installments.

 TPA - Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Due To Accident
In case of total permanent disability due to accident, the relevant sum assured will be paid in 5 equal annual installments.

EPD - Extended Partial & Permanent Disability Benefit Due To Accident
In the event of partial permanent disability due to accident, according to the severity of the disability a percentage of sum assured is payable to the insured.
 
WP - Waiver Of Premium Benefit On Total Permanent Disability Due To Accident Or Sickness
In case of total permanent disability due to accident or sickness, the premium for basic cover, level term benefit, funeral expenses benefit, critical illness benefit, family income benefit, spouse benefits, child health benefit and major surgery benefit will be waived off.
 
SPB - Spouse Benefit
The benefit will provide life cover for the spouse of the policyholder.
 
FEB - Funeral Expenses Benefit
Up to maximum of Rs.50,000/= for the funeral expenses, paid on notification of death.
 
CHB - Child Health Benefit
This benefit provides daily hospital cash and the surgery benefit which pays out the relevant percentages of the sum assured specified in the event of undergoing the surgeries listed in the policy or hospitalization of the child / children. CHB covers 244 surgeries inclusive of critical illness related surgeries.

MSB - Major Surgery Benefit
MSB Provides relevant percentages of the sum assured specified, immediately after a surgery due to an accident or sickness. The benefit covers 105 major surgeries, which are listed in the policy.
