Imports / Exports
A Shipper or a Buyer could obtain a cargo Import/Export policy to protect his cargo against loss or damage that could be caused to his cargo consignment during a voyage.
The cover is provided as per Institute Clauses and is on a warehouse-to-warehouse basis.
Regular Shippers could obtain an open cover to have an advance form of cover.

Inland Transit
Cover could be obtained for a cargo consignment whilst in transit, from one point to another, within the geographical limits of Sri Lanka. This cover is not for a series of transits but for a specific transit of a consignment only.
The cover provided shall be either on accidental damage basis or on all risk basis.

Goods In Transit
Cover could be obtained for a cargo consignment whilst in transit, from one point to another, within the geographical limits of Sri Lanka.
This cover is important for Agents and Distributors of cargo.
The premium is based on Estimated Annual Carryings, and is adjustable at the end of the policy period based on actual.
The cover provided shall be either on accidental damage basis or on all risk basis.

Stock Throughput
This policy provides cover for imported raw material whilst being stored, worked upon and until
The final product is placed on board the vessel. Eg. Garment Industry
The cover is on an all risk basis, excluding whilst directly under process.
The premium is based on the Estimated Annual Turnover and is adjustable at the end of the policy period based on actual.

Produce in Transit
This policy provides cover for local produce such as Tea, Coconut and Rubber whilst being transported and stored at various locations. The cover commences from the time of plucking, picking and or tapping and or terminates on delivery to the buyer.
The cover will be on an all risk basis subject to terms and conditions.
The premium shall be based on Estimated Annual Gross Proceeds, and is adjustable at the end of the policy period based on actual.
